Ordinarily, skaters on the American SOI tour who continue onto the
Canadian tour will simply use the same programs for both tours.
However, since Kurt started out on the Canadian tour, his programs for
the American tour were slightly out of step with the Canadian. In
1995, Kurt skated to Hey Pachuco on the Canadian tour, and continued
to use that program as the first song after the opening number in the
American tour the following year. When the Canadian tour rolled
around, Kurt had to find a new program to fill that spot, and used
this program, Colour My World instead. The programs shared a costume
- the white opening number costume spray-painted by his fellow skaters
- but little else.
