Random facts: This program was one of the first collaborations between Kurt and
Roberto Campanella, a dancer and choreographer with the National
Ballet of Canada. The program was not originally planned to be
without jumps or spins, but as the choreography developed, the
choreographer preferred not to put any in. The program thus developed
into the masterpiece of footwork and choreography without jumps or
spins that it's famous for today. Kurt used a slightly different
version of the program *with* jumps and spins for the two competitions
he used it in. This program is widely admired and has even been used
to show young eligible skaters what an artistic program should look
like. In 2022, Kurt was invited to Javier Fernandez's "Revolution on
Ice" show in Madrid, Spain, and was asked to skate to "Nyah." That
show was cancelled due to the Ukraine/Russia conflict, but Kurt went
on to perform "Nyah" in the 2022 Canadian Stars on Ice tour.
