Ultra-Wheels endorsed by Jill Trenary and Kurt Browning, world figure

First Team Sports Inc., manufacturers of Ultra-Wheels and related accessories has just received another major endorsement from reigning Women's World Figure Skating Champion Jill Trenary of the U.S.A. and reigning Men's World Figure Skating Champion Kurt Browning of Canada.

In February, the company received similar endorsement from hockey superstar Wayne Gretzky and his wife Janet Jones Gretzky.

Trenary and Browning have signed a multi-year license agreement with First Team Sports Inc. to serve as spokespersons and promote and endorse the company's line of Ultra-Wheels roller skate products and accessories. Through arrangements with their respective Figure Skating Associations, they will be featured in advertising and product packaging.

John Egart, vice president of marketing for First Team Sports Inc., said, ''The signing of Trenary and Browning makes a statement that we are taking an agressive approach to marketing our products. By bringing Kurt and Jill on board, we are making a serious commitment to the growing figure skating market and adding a new dimension to marketing our skates and accessories.''

Kurt Browning, winner of the Men's gold medal at the recent Goodwill Games in Seattle, said, ''I spend at least 50 percent of my total off-ice practice time on Ultra-Wheels.
